So much has been happening over the last couple weeks. I’m stepping into a very heady time as I protract to work towards my ultimate weight loss goal. Learning to listen to good, sound translating can be a rencontre in today’s weight loss atmosphere. It seems everyone knows weightier among the plethora of nutrition strategies floating around. My guess is, there is a lot of ravages out there. So I’m learning to have patience in my weight loss journey. I am fortunate to have a knowledgeable trainer who is helping me walk through this unshortened journey. With every new transpiration or shift, he has given me zaftig warning of what is well-nigh to happen. This has unliable me to prep my mind for what is well-nigh to happen. This gives me a unconfined wholesomeness considering how difficult weight loss was in the past. WEIGHT LOSS PLATEAU Over the undertow of many years, I had many episodes where I would lose as much as 30-40 pounds. However, it wouldn’t be long surpassing my weight loss would plateau and I would grow weary and frustrated. In my efforts to alimony the weight dropping, I would eat less and exercise more. This would unchangingly lead me quickly to a breaking point due to lattermost hunger and really low energy. Although I was trying hard, I was doing it wrong and my mind would surrender in hopelessness. The last fifteen months have been so different. There have been many variegated seasons through this weight loss and each one has been monitored and evaluated. There was a lot of weight to shed and our goal was to move as quickly as possible. WEIGHT LOSS CHANGES Now, things are a bit slower and increasingly methodical. I am still working through this transition phase which is developing patience in my weight loss. A lot of important changes are taking place and I’m learning so much well-nigh how this soul needs to work. The changes may be slow and steady but it is such an heady phase for me. I finger like I’m well-nigh to lift off into outer space and I’m just working through the countdown. A little increasingly tweaking and things are going to get really crazy again. I am now when up to 2400 calories a day. This is double what I’ve been eating for the last year so I finger like I’m stuffing myself. Surprisingly, as my soul has once reverted considerably, the supplies is stuff undivided and it has boosted my energy, jump started my metabolism and kicked in the hunger again. It feels like the furnaces have been fired up and we’re stoking the fire, getting it hotter and hotter. Once we get it right where we want it and this engine is roaring like a fine tuned machine, I’m going to waif it into gear and hit the gym. We’re going to shrivel some fat for sure…no looking back! MAJOR PROGRESS This has been the topic of our conversation for the last few weeks. I’ve been silent on the blog considering I’m not racing through any new goal lines but major progress is taking place under the hood, as my trainer likes to put it. I’m passing him new data everyday and he’s spitting out new instructions. I’m not just weighing myself everyday but starting to measure variegated points to track my progress. This new phase has increasingly triggers than just my weight. The increased calories is rebuilding muscle that was depleted from the long stretch of low calorie weight loss. So I’m rebuilding muscle at the same time as I’m loosing weight. This creates an illusion that weight loss has stopped but it really hasn’t. It is stuff masked by my soul repairing itself. This is very exciting. I realize this isn’t very heady to those pursuit my journey but I promise you, all of this is unconfined news! Now that I’m increasing my calories, exercise is very important. Until I hit the gym, it is hair-trigger that I alimony my walking routine perfect. I’m trying to get out there five times a week but the weather has not made this easy. In fact a few weeks ago, as I was out in the cold, I hit an ice slick and went lanugo hard. The welt on my knee is still giving me grief. Now I’m dealing with the small ponds that imbricate the sidewalks. I just hope I won’t be sharing a story soon of some sidewalk swimming swoop in the near future. Tip of the Day:Lattermostweight loss is not workaday quickly. There will be many diverse seasons so be prepared to transmute and transpiration with them.
