When Work and Weight Loss Collide - Managing Weight Loss -WiltInspired Home My First Post My Weight Loss Plan Contact Me Weight Tracker Day to Day When Work and Weight Loss Collide – Managing Weight Loss Posted on March 29, 2018 MANAGING WEIGHT LOSS There is a typical trend when it comes to weight loss. Many people uncork but very few make it to the end and reach their goal. I promise you, I will not be one of those who abandons their journey to retreat when to their old lifestyle. It certainly appears that way since I’ve fallen off the squatter of the earth with posting on this blog. Managing weight loss can be an overwhelming task when it must fit in with the many ebbs and flows of your life. I am amazed as I gaze when over the last year of this weight loss journey. Despite a few random distractions, I have been fiercely single-minded to this blog and to my daily routines. Very little has distracted me despite some challenging seasons with my work and home life. I am so thankful that little has distracted me from managing my meal plans, exercise routines and this blog. I believe this has been a key part of my success. WORKING THROUGH CHANGES Over the last couple months, I have been gearing up for a major shift in my weight loss journey. As I mentioned in my last post, which was posted a month ago, I have been raising my calories and preparing myself for the gym. A lot of discussion has gone into this and this was going to mark a major transition for me. As life has a mind of its own, I hit an unexpected obstacle to completing this transition. Running a merchantry comes with many joys and many challenges. This is the first time, during my weight loss journey, that my work has interfered so dramatically. When unexpected things happen, there is only one solution for small merchantry owners…you fix it yourself! Our office in Chicago required some intervention and off we went. THE DISTRACTION OF WORK As I mentioned, I’ve been happy to have had few major distractions over the undertow of this lattermost weight loss journey but the last few weeks has reverted all that. This came at an unfortunate time, just as I was well-nigh to start hitting the gym. This forced me to hold off on that new routine and shredded me from my trainer for the last couple weeks. I finger as though I’ve stepped out of my life and into flipside one. This has definitely interrupted my plans and created some havoc on my routines. Here’s the good news…I worked my stump off. Day and night, running here and running there. Thankfully, the dramatic weight loss I’ve once experienced has made a huge impact on me. I was worldly-wise to go and go and go! Up stairs, lanugo stairs, errand without errand for hours and hours. I had to gravity myself to stop by the end of each night. This was an wondrous sit-in of what I’ve workaday up to this point. For this, I am so grateful! TOGETHER IS BETTER My wife and I were together on this trip so we were worldly-wise to hold each other together tween some lattermost stress and long work hours. We were moreover happy to be worldly-wise to escape together and walk all over town when we could. In our efforts to relieve the pressure valves, we took wholesomeness of the random moments we had to explore new places, walking everywhere together. I am so thankful for this considering it unliable us an escape from some of the stress. The most challenging speciality of the last couple weeks, has been the disruption in my meal plan. I had increased my calorie intake to scrutinizingly 4000 calories and then reduced it to 3100 just surpassing all this took place. So this is what I’ve been shooting for each day I’ve been away. I can definitely shoehorn that my routines have been a little erratic. I’ve washed-up pretty well sticking with my water intake and my six meals a day. However, the wastefulness from meal to meal was a little rough as some meals were much smaller than others. We moreover found ourselves having to eat out increasingly than we overly have throughout the last year. This was both frustrating and enjoyable at the same time. I was thankful for the opportunity to escape with my wife to find a little peace at a local restaurant, having some normal conversation together yonder from the mess. MOVING FORWARD AGAIN So here I am, when home and ready to move forward despite the fact that we are still in the midst of a lot changes with our business. There are increasingly work trips planned over the next month so this will be throwing me some new challenges to overcome. It is unveiled that some new preparations have to be made to retread to this so I can reach some new goals and find progress again. Rest assured, I am as passionate as overly to alimony overcoming my obesity and discovering a largest life for me and my family. I have not weighed in since getting when late last night but I am pretty confident I am tropical to where I was surpassing running off to Chicago. I’m sure I will squatter this tomorrow morning and uncork taking each step one foot at a time. This is a life journey for me so nothing is going to steal yonder my motivation or distract me from ultimately reaching my goal. I LOVE MY NEW LIFE As I walked virtually Naperville and Downtown Chicago, I was amazed at the self-rule I had. There was no fear of how far I could walk or how long surpassing my soul would shut lanugo on me. This was an wondrous feeling and despite this lark with work, I was reminded then how much I love this new life transpiration and how single-minded I am to living life differently. This is not a nutrition for me but a new way of living. Getting virtually some of these work obstacles is challenging but there is no way it will stop me. Tip of the Day: Work stress and work related obstacles can be a real rencontre but stay single-minded to working virtually them. I’m looking forward to towers new disciplines to write these challenges. Thankfully, there is an Anytime Fitness just minutes from our Chicago office so that is going to be helpful on my next trip. 340'sBusiness DistractionsChangesChicagoChicago OfficeDiet ChangesDistractionsExtreme StressGymMeal PlanNapervilleStressTransitionWalkingWorkWork ChallengesWork Trip 0 Comments By Todd Todd I am happy with a trappy wife of 20 years and we have one wondrous 18 year old son.
